You may need to click this picture to enlarge it. I was walking along the river at night last week. It was late twilight, the sky was a strange, deep red and the rain was falling all around. The swan could just be seen in the darkness. She was still awake, still searching for food, but I don't think she saw me because she didn't take any notice of me.
