Blogger barely works on my phone, but I wanted to wish you Merry Christmas from Madrid! It's very cheerful with the street packed with people...
So let me just wish you very happy holidays, and I will post more when i'm back. Meanwhile, here (I hope) is a popular little Spanish Christmas carol!
That is a beautiful song!
ReplyDeleteThe street in your picture DOES look busy - wow!
Thank you, Jenny, and Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones, too.
A lovely carol! I wish they played that here instead of the standard ruddy jingle bells!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a Merry Christmas...and enjoy Madrid!
Merry Christmas and a good New Year!

ReplyDeleteA lovely Carol, dear Jenny. Wish you a very Merry Christmas, (and blogger doesn't work on my phone, either :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your holidays in Spain and it certainly does look like a joyous celebration! Looking forward to reading about your holiday adventures in the New Year, Jenny (maybe sooner?) Sending all best wishes for a Happy 🌲Christmas and wonderful 2025 !
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the Christmas crowds as you get away from it all. Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteChristmas almost over when I write this but I wish a Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteChristmas in Spain, that's wonderful! Interesting to hear a Christmas Carol from Spain! Hope you are having a great time.
ReplyDeleteStay warm and enjoy this winter.
ReplyDeleteMerriest -- a little late to you! The Spanish carol is lovely and I can't wait for the full wrap up! (Incidentally, the post office returned your gift to me and I can't figure out why. I'll try to ferret it out and get it remailed. Maybe for the best, since I'll have something new to add to it next week!) Safe travels, if you are still on the road!
ReplyDeleteAnd a very happy New Year to you, Jenny. Madrid is an interesting city, though I prefer Barcelona.
ReplyDelete(I still haven't found any way of being notified when you put up a new post. So sorry to say I missed your November post altogether).
Thank you so much, Jenny. It must be lovely to spend Christmas in such a different place and culture. Those lights are fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year. I hope that it brings you good health and lots of travelling.
ReplyDeleteA happy new year to you and your family, Jenny!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas and a Guid New Year! Looking forward to hearing all your 2025 stories when they come
