What fun... I always have one ice cream parfait when I visit Japan. You can't believe what goes one, And yes, there are corn flakes (the only time I eat them) but they are so good.
I wouldn't thing taking photographs of people enjoying desserts would help with the dieting. Personally, dieting makes my crabby. I'd want these people dead.
Your post is more amusing to me than you can imagine Jenny, I am in the throes of searching for and providing "ice cream accessories" for my best friend's wedding as she is to be married in the middle of summer and ice cream in all its guises will be the dessert! PS: mine is working..... a little bit too....
Ah yes, a friend of mine was telling me they were going to 'diet'. I asked them what colour.... And thanks, suddenly I've got this urge to have an ice cream, 'Sunday'. Or maybe sooner :) Take care and all the best with your determination. Gary
That dessert on the left is just about my size! lol
Congrats on the diet working! I was so happy to have lost 5 pounds over the summer. Unfortunately, because I didn't do anything to lose it, I knew I'd gain it back quickly. And I have. :( Oh well, at least I only gained back what I lost.
I'm happy whenever anyone achieves, or begins to achieve, the look he or she desires, but I've always found the female fascination with uber-thinness a bit much. And men who desire mature females to look that way are, to my way of thinking, probably turned on by teenage boys, as well.
I'm told the 5:2 diet is brilliant for losing weight. Eat what you like for five days, then for two days you consume only 500 calories a day. I've heard it reduces blood pressure as well.
Jenny, you are doing much better than I am. I have been making banana splits for us here every few days ... You know what they say, a minute on the lips, a lifetime on the hips. At this rate, it is following me all the way to the afterlife!
Hello Jenny:
ReplyDeleteBut what a wonderful time they are having. And, just occasionally.......!!
What hard must be to follow a diet, Jane!!
ReplyDeleteDon´t give up, cheer up!

Well, they're only eating one. The lowest score wins; you're ahead.

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad. Sort of. I do tend to prefer women who "have something to garb hold of"
Good for you! I can usually stick with a diet only between meals.
