I took this photo last year in New York and actually the owners of the house WERE very welcoming, they happened to come out and were delighted to find me photographing their pumpkins. They toured us through their other Halloween scary things and even turned on the outside lights to show them off better(although actually I had liked the creepy dark porch. I think it looks as if a ghost could be lurking there where the cobwebs are draped around the porch lamp)
Hello Jenny:
ReplyDeleteBeware all ye who enter here....!!!!
looks great indeed
ReplyDeleteWoohoo, awesome photo, telaarañas really seem that form a sort of ghost. Very good. Greetings.
ReplyDeleteWhat a very fun entry way to decorate. I don't carve pumpkins anymore but love looking at what others have done.
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween
cheers, parsnip
Happy Halloween Jenny! :)))
ReplyDeleteOn Halloween the people who decorate were usually welcoming in my experience. The scariest houses were the ones with barely any light and no decorations! ;)
ReplyDeleteI carved a HUGE pumpkin in Canada some years ago - something I have never done in Scotland I am ashamed to say.
ReplyDeleteSuch a nice festival this is. No stress, just fun. And I love the carving idea, though I never get round to it.
ReplyDeleteLove the shopping trolly turned seat in your next post. The thing to attach to the front of a bike :-)
Pardon my quirk here but I just saw Mark Cavendish riding the new bike track in London [on the news], and this is on my mind
How nice to get a tour of the homeowners' Halloween scary home.
ReplyDeleteI agree, it is spookier when it is dark than when there is light. :)
:)
ReplyDeleteGreat image Jenny! Plus it looks very scary...:)
