Wonderful Websites, and ... Name Needed?

Couple of things today. First, I just saw the shortlist for the Website of the Year (no, I'm not on it, but then I didn't apply). I'll vote though. Probably for the National Trust's original and creative http://www.my-farm.org.uk/ in which readers can be involved in running a real farm - though I'm a bit dubious that they've set the joining cost too high.  There are also some particularly clever creative websites for artists and musicians, so take a look.

And as for this picture?

Well, this time last year I was leaving New York, and above is one of the images I took back to England with me. She surely combines two cultural icons (Marilyn and Mickey) pretty well.  But she didn't have a name. Does she need one, I wonder?

    Let's call her Mickey-Lynn Monroe... sounds like the pseudonym of an exotic dancer :-)

    http://www.i-escape.com/ seems like a good choice to me - I bet it comes in handy when planning a trip. I do love the design of http://www.my-farm.org.uk/ though...

    Congratulations on making the short list! As for Marilyn/Mickey....I've never seen anything quite like her/him before! Definitely iconic but in a truly weird way.

    That's about the worst likeness of Marilyn Monroe I've ever seen. She looks like she's had one facelift too many. And she'd sure have trouble finding bra cups that fit.
