I am ridiculously mesmerised by the turning of the windmill blades in the animated picture. I remember studying about Holland when I was in Grade 3 (about 8 or 9 years old). I think it was the first time I really understood that there was a world different to the one which I inhabited and I was thrilled with the discovery. Plus I loved the tulips and windmills. Guess I haven't changed much.
I saw Jenny windmill blades move and I could not believe it is of course the Netherlands, I suppose, as I screw up and no. A greeting and beautiful photography.
I'm so glad you stopped by the Cottage on the Corner and I'm delighted I visited your blog. It's a wonderful place filled with magical places that I'd like to visit one day. I look forward to traveling vicariously through your posts.
Seems like you are on holiday. Love the excitement of a visit to Holland depicted here!
Thank you for persevering on the Follower button. I have sent a note to Blogger about it already (no response). It is vexing that others can see and click on it while others cannot. There is a circuitous way via updating the Blogger Reading List ("Add" Blog). But I do wish the Follower Gadget on the blog would work!
Hi, Jenny! Whirling windmill against the blue sky is cool and orange tulips are so lovely. Souvenir photo of the Netherlands? I’ll be expecting your return.
I am visiting you again. Thank you for a kind comment.I am glad you enjoyed my photos of Tokyo. A photo I wanted to take the most was the Tokyo station building. It is a very historical building. However the building has been under construction for its renovation. I heard it will take a few years to complete. Tokyo is a big city, so it has indeed many aspects in it. Red Rose.
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove the twirling windmill. I hope your trip is great! Marjorie
