I think -E- is right. This reminds me of a black and white variant of the artwork in Brad Johanssen's "High Tide" of 1972. Nick, I have not seen the Samaritans ad but I agree there is something a bit Raw Art about this. Ah, Dave, I wonder what is really lurking in the corners of your mind?
What a weird world! The big pair of eyes are meant to be the painter’s? I have no idea what the painter had in his/her mind. Enjoy your weekend, Jenny.
@stardust, I don't know whose eyes they are but they look rather glamorous to me! @see you there - don't go cross eyed looking at the detail! @Macy - Homer?!!! My favourite ...but looking almost too suave. Personally I'm wondering what that mobile phone thing with bubbles is. I find it very disconcerting
surely drugs were involved in the making of that mural.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure which is my favorite... the walking boobs or the sunglasses. Made me giggle though. XOX T-
ReplyDeleteWow! lol!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to know what the artist was thinking about when they came up with concept of this.....or maybe not!
ReplyDeleteWell, well, looks like something out of the 70's, someone has not evolved...yet...here!! :))
ReplyDeleteThat looks uncannily like the advert for the Samaritans, with a similar depiction of mental chaos. Maybe it's by the same artist.
ReplyDelete:D)
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteSo crazy it's clever. Or should that be the other way around?
ReplyDeleteI have drams like that! Honest! I've never been able to make art like that out of them, though. I wonder why...

Oh boy, all those lines, what a treat! I enlarged it and spent some time looking at it. I'm going back again now.
ReplyDeleteSend a search and rescue team if you don't hear from me in a few days.

That's quite the "work of art". I love the first comment about drugs being involved. LOL! Have a great weekend. Mickie :)
ReplyDeleteThese kinds of art projects are not simply stimulating to the imagination, but also bring a touch of absurdity in our lives :)

ReplyDeleteHomer Simpson is on the right hand side, halfway up.
ReplyDeleteGlad I could help :)
Nice find! Excellent shot!
ReplyDeleteHave a good Sunday!

ReplyDeleteNot that anyone should be paranoid, but there are lots of reasons to be scared! Especially in a time of "class warfare."
