Just thought I'd publicise the Travel Photographer of the Year contest. You need to be very, very, very good for this one, and the prizes, including assignments, are enough to consolidate anyone's career.
The contest is open to pros and amateurs. And no, I'm not entering. I know my limitations, and my little point'n'shoot camera is one of them.
On the subject of photos, I like this one. They found a buoy when they were playing on the shore, and had no idea what it was. They looked so little against the bay and the sky
