One Moment In London

I like the way everyone arranged themselves for a second.  In the blink of an eye,  it would all have been different.

  1. Nice shot Jenny, I agree everyone and everything is at the right place, a couple of second later would have been different!
Yes, i have been encountering issues with the Followers button on and off since may like many people. I think Google is having an issue there. But the button comes back...hope to see you onboard :)

  6. Thanks everyone. @DeeBeeL - sorted! @Isabel - hm, good question, think they're probably those funny bike holders that you stick your front wheel in (very bad for the bikes). @Miranda, well you have the start of a compelling novel there!

  9. This picture reminds me so much of something I wrote in my blog quite some time ago under the headline "Glimpses"; not the scene as such, but the idea of catching just that one brief moment in someone else's lives.
Take the girl walking in one direction and the man with the bike in the opposite one; one second later, will he turn around to have another look at her? And will she, too, turn around, not expecting him to look at her? Then, will they both quickly look away and, feeling slightly embarrassed for having been "caught out", continue their seperate ways? Or will they laugh, and maybe a conversation will ensue, "How about a coffee right here," pointing to the café / pub behind them?
The possibilities are endless, and these are just two of the seven people in the picture!

  10. Thank you so much for the comment! I hope you enjoy coke floats when you get to try them.

I was so surprised when I saw your profile because I remember reading the summary of Lewis Carrol in His Own Account then losing the link for it. I love the work you do about him.
